What are the benefits of the All-on-X procedure?

Patients who choose All-on-X implants over dentures can expect several benefits.

  • Caring for All-on-X implants is just like caring for your natural teeth. You can brush normally each day.
  • All-on-X implants are permanently affixed and do not require removal for eating or cleaning, as is necessary with traditional dentures. This means no uncomfortable wires or brackets to hold the implants in place.
  • All-on-X patients can eat all the foods they enjoy without concern about tooth damage. Hot or cold foods will not affect denture fit.
  • All-on-X patients can bite down with up to 70 percent more force than denture wearers, which allows them to eat crunchy, hard foods that would normally be off-limits.

Ultimately, All-on-X implants provide a superior level of function and comfort for patients when compared to dentures.

Am I a good candidate for All-on-X?

All-on-X in Trophy Club is an excellent, long-lasting solution for those who have lost teeth or wear dentures and want a beautiful, natural-looking set of replacement teeth. The ideal candidates often have low bone density and seek a more straightforward, quick, and affordable solution than traditional implant placements can offer. By opting for this advanced solution, patients can regain the confidence and functionality associated with a full set of healthy teeth. The All-on-X dental procedure is very successful, thanks to its ability to bridge the gap between traditional treatment options such as dentures and costly alternatives such as multiple individual implants.

What is the recovery for All-on-X?

On average, recovery can take around six months, depending on the surgery type and patient health conditions. Once healing is complete, All-on-X provides a secure and stable arch of replacement teeth with just four implants that can last a lifetime if properly maintained through regular dental visits and hygienic practices.

What can I expect from the All-on-X procedure?

  • The treatment begins with an in-depth examination, including X-rays, CT scans, and molds taken of the patient’s mouth to determine suitability for the procedure.
  • The next step involves a simulation of the implants being positioned in the jawbone so we can ensure your jaw receives the proper support and your bite is balanced.
  • If the patient is approved for All-on-X, then four strategically placed implants are surgically inserted into the jawbone.
  • After a period of healing and integration, abutments are attached to the implants, and new prosthetic teeth are secured in place.
